The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. Experts expect that this decision will trigger at least 26 states to ban abortion outright, and many others will further restrict access to abortion. The devastating impact of this decision, made by six unelected conservative extremists, cannot be overstated.

This decision would not have happened without the coordinated efforts of Republican elected officials like Mitch McConnell to block the confirmation of qualified judges and game the system—all with the end goal of punishing people who get pregnant, especially poor people, people of color, and those in the LGBTQ+ community. Let us turn our rage toward those responsible, the GOP, and make sure they know that by stripping away our rights, they have ensured their own defeat at the ballot box.
